HomeEventsOur harvest just began with Brunello Vigna Poggio Cerrino!
After last thursday with Moscato grapes from which we produced the historical Moscadello di Montalcino DOC, today, under a bright sun, first grapes of Rosso and Brunello di Montalcino for our vineyarda Poggio Cerrino, historical vineyard of Tiezzi estate, were harvested. Here’s the words by Monica Tiezi, interviewed by MontalcinoNews: “Today we started the harvest in our notth side vineyards in Montalcino, the old one Vigna Poggio Cerrino. Grapes are beautiful, healthy, the stam is pink, with many aromas and nice color, the potencial degree is fine, so that’s the right moment, for sure an earlier harvest compared to past years but we are really happy about it.” We need instead few days more to wait in the south-west faced vineyard at Vigna Soccorso, to reach the perfect maturation level, 560 mt. high on the sea level.
