Brunello di Montalcino DOCG

Riserva Vigna Soccorso

SELECT VINTAGE

Description

The summit of our production.
Brunello Riserva is made only from Vigna Soccorso vineyard and is produced in the best vintages, this is when Babbo Enzo considers the Brunello Vigna Soccorso suitable for further aging in the cellar. This happens when the climatic conditions of the vintage are perfectly balanced and characterized by significant temperature swings with exceptional grape quality that contributes to having high level of complexity and harmony. It is a rare and precious wine, the result of artisanal practices, whose production process follows traditional methods. This wine is a tribute to the history of Brunello, to Montalcino’s ability to produce wines of extraordinary elegance, longevity and with marked territorial identity.

Tasting notes

Don't mistake the glass, use a balloon, a big glass and try to keep it at a temperature around 16° so as to be able to enjoi its essential traits which are balance, harmony and refined elegance. You’ll notice aromas of cinnamon, the seriousness of undergrowth balms, mediterranean scrub and spices; in the mouth you’ll be struck by its broad texture and good structure with a long after-tasting and savory, lively and juicy cherry sip. Fine and very elegant tannins remind the tactile sensation of the touch of velvet.
