On the nose, it is iron-like and complex, with notes of thyme, lavender, cola, and a subtle meaty note. On the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied, with robust tannins that soften toward the finish, revealing hints of red fruit and notes of dried herbs. Best enjoyed starting in 2028. J.S.
