Bold and full-bodied, the 2021 Brunello Tre Querci Tiezzi offers aromas of violet, stewed plum, spiced blueberry, and dark exotic spices. Concentrated and rather monolithic on the palate, with the warmth of the alcohol clearly evident, vanilla and licorice accompany notes of black cherry extract and raspberry jam. A dense tannic structure provides an enveloping framework before giving way to a firm, lingering finish. Best enjoyed between 2028 and 2035. Alcohol content: 15% Kerin O’Keefe January 2026
