Description
Second to none.
Rosso di Montalcino is a wine of great importance, with a strong personality, representing a historical and emotional bond with Babbo Enzo, who supported its development in the 1970s. Considered until then a table wine, it obtained DOC recognition thanks to his efforts. This wine, made from the same grapes and techniques as Brunello, has a shorter aging period in Slavonian oak barrels and is marketed about 12 months after the harvest. Since 2022, it has been produced as a “cru” with grapes from the Poggio Cerrino vineyard.
