Intense ruby red in colour with purple undertones. Aromatic profile is a mixture of red and blue blossoms, including rose petal and lilac, blackberry jam, raspberry, wild strawberry, dark chocolate and mellow exotic spice. Blackcurrant, blueberry, dark cherry, liquorice, cedar notes and orange peel. Warm, silky and sublime on the palate. Balanced like the scales of justice. A black hole of textural depth. So juicy and seamless. Acidity and tannins were made for each other. This is fabulous Sangiovese. My first time reviewing this winery, and what a glorious experience it was. Thank you!

Deep ruby red in colour. Aromas of violet, lilac and lavender florals, blond tobacco, cinnamon, tanned leather and mint. Blackcurrant, rhubarb, plum, dark cherry, balsam, salty liquorice and sage notes. Silky entry, lively, full of explosive energy, core ripe fruit takes a racy linear route, assisted by zesty acidity and compact, crunchy tannins. Finely formed and attractive for the vintage. My first time reviewing this winery, and what a glorious experience it was. Thank you!

Intense ruby red in colour with bright undertones. Aromas of meadow flowers, floral underbrush, damp leaf litter, pipe tobacco and candied bitter orange peel. Blackberry, damson, plum, cranberry and wild cherry, graphite, chocolate, distant clove and cinnamon. Cool upon entry, floats across the palate, showing layers of ripe fresh fruit, complex minerality, integrated tannin and acidity interplay. Class and pedigree from start to finish. A wonderful indulgence.

THE NEW GEO-VITICULTURAL
MPA OF MONTALCINO PRESENTED
(Verona, April 8th 2025). An official tool to objectively describe the unique and identifying characteristics of the territory. The new geo-viticultural map of Montalcino was presented today at Vinitaly, created by the Consorzio del vino Brunello di Montalcino in collaboration with the leading high-tech farming company Copernico and the Masters of Wine Gabriele Gorelli and Andrea Lonardi. An intellectual property of the consortium, the map represents one of the most complex systems of analysis and characterization of a territory that takes into account not only the geological component of the soil, but also the climate, average temperatures, rainfall and winds, as well as exposure and altimetry.

Starting from the 2020 vintage, a new system has been created to evaluate or rather to understand the vintages of Brunello di Montalcino that will be released on the market every January 1st: there will no longer be stars given to the harvest but a global framework tending to enhance the diversity, the nuances, the uniqueness of this great wine of ours.
