Considered until then a table wine, it obtained DOC recognition thanks to his efforts. This wine, made from the same grapes and techniques as Brunello, has a shorter aging period in Slavonian oak barrels and is marketed about 18 months after the harvest. Il Brunello di Montalcino Vigna Soccorso \u00e8 un cru da uve 100% Sangiovese ottenute esclusivamente dalla vigna dell\u2019unit\u00e0 poderale omonima. Il terreno \u00e8 limoso\/sabbioso, sciolto ma con inclusioni di scheletro da rocce vulcaniche, areniti con presenza di tischi. Sotto lo strato sciolto di terreno sono presenti grandi rocce magmatiche e sedimentarie.
