Our property is now composed of five farm units with about twelve hectares, located in various parts of Montalcino: six and a half hectares are cultivated with Sangiovese (Brunello), about half a hectare with Moscadello, two hectares with olive trees and groves, and two hectares of woods.<\/p>

All the vineyards are cultivated by the family and trusted people with organic methods, attention, and special agronomic care: both pruned and harvested by hand. The meticulous selection of the bunches and the thinning allow us to obtain the best results every year.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

It was from here that Babbo Enzo produced his first Brunello and here you can find vines that are more than fifty years old, close to new Vigna Tre Querci, planted in the 2017.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Cerrino vineyard is among the last vines in Montalcino grafted on site and obtained by mass selection; it is located two kilometers far from Montalcino, northeast area, along the Brunello state road towards Siena, at an elevation of 350 meters above sea level. It is trained to spurred cordon, the central part is more than fifty years old, and it is from here that Babbo Enzo produced his first Brunello named after this estate.<\/p>

Here we have also the young tre querci vineyard that from the 2021 harvest, gives us our new and third Brunello.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The heart of the winery is the historic Podere Soccorso where the cellars, offices, direct sales and agritourism are located. The vineyard of the Soccorso farm is located few steps far from the the historic center of Montalcino, next to the 14th<\/span>-century city walls and the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Soccorso from its name come from. It is about 560 meters above sea level, facing the south-west. Vigna Soccorso is a brush-trained wineyard, an ancient pruning system to optimize production and especially to enhance aesthetics by limiting visual impact with the elimination of poles and wires. The Soccorso vineyard appears as a graded garden surrounded by hand-built stone walls, adorned with roses at the top of each row with Mediterranean aromatic plants, wild berries and fruit trees and olive trees.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Below Podere Soccorso lie Podere San Carlo and Poggio Scopeto, accessible through masonry gates from a historic path, Vicolo del Topo \u2013 an old, narrow, winding mule track encircling the city walls. Podere San Carlo vineyard is traditionally mixed: olive and fruit trees grow among short rows of Sangiovese and Moscadello vines trained to low spurred cordon and Tuscan-style capovolto. At the Poggio Scopeto farm, the slopes become significant, and the terracing typical of the upper Montalcino area is a work of art, remaining intact for over a hundred years. Here, centuries-old olive trees are enclosed by perfect, round dry stone walls, while Sangiovese vines grow on the surrounding terraces.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
